You will be responsible to:

The Site Engineering Automation Value Stream Lead is responsible for supporting the global team in strategic projects, leading site-specific projects, and maintaining site automation. This role ensures that the automation solutions are aligned with the global engineering standards and project requirements and works closely with the strategic project teams to ensure seamless project handover.

Technical Planning and Oversight:

1. Support the global team in project implementation.
2. Lead site-specific projects and maintain site automation.
3. Prepare detailed execution plans and provide technical oversight during implementation.
4. Ensure that project designs align with global standards and guidelines.

Design and Specifications:

1. Elaborate functional design specifications, ensuring alignment with global engineering standards and project requirements.
2. Contribute to the design review phase of engineering projects to ensure that adequate technical solutions are incorporated.

Project Coordination:

1. Work closely with the global engineering team to ensure seamless project handover.
2. Coordinate with the standards team and site support team to streamline implementation.
3. Plan to ensure the availability of necessary resources, balancing resources between multiple ongoing projects.

Compliance and Quality Assurance:

1. Ensure compliance with cGMP, HSE, and other regulatory requirements.
2. Perform change control assessments and ensure proper authorization for scope changes.
3. Guarantee that relevant inspections and tests are performed in compliance with project standards or legal requirements.

Documentation and Reporting:

1. Issue, approve, and coordinate commissioning and qualification-related documentation.
2. Report and escalate any relevant deviations to plans or objectives, managing risk and uncertainty.

Team Leadership and Development:

1. Lead project functional teams, overseeing the work of team members.
2. Coach, mentor, and train less experienced members of the team.

We are looking to recruit a Candidate:

1. University degree, or equivalent qualification in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil) or similar scientific field (mandatory)
2. Extensive experience in installation management or equipment qualification, preferably with a focus in chemical plants or Pharmaceutical industry.
3. Training and experience of GMP and HSE practices (mandatory)
4. Advanced knowledge of legislation applicable to engineering projects and quality requirements applicable to technical installations.
5. Advanced knowledge of equipment (Mechanical, E&I), of Quality, cGxPs, ICH, ISPE and ISO guidelines as well as experience on their application.
6. Fluency in written and verbal English
