Structural Engineer: Dublin *Wonderful company with a superb reputation* We have a really exciting opportunity for a Structural Engineer with 8+ years experience to join a medium sized well established civil and structural engineering consultancy in Dublin with the opportunity to travel to their office in the UK. The successful Structural Engineer should be chartered with Engineers Ireland or IStructE and keen to develop professionally with the aim of moving into senior management. The successful Structural Engineer will be responsible for the design and management of a range of projects and will be expected to manage junior engineers and work alongside more senior management in both Dublin and Bath offices. Typical projects include mixed use developments, hotels, commercial, retail, industrial and residential developments largely for blue chip clients. You will work on engineering challenging projects whilst having a good work life balance. This company offers a fantastic working environment in a great location. Sample of current Projects: €10M Retail development €10M Office development €40M Multistorey apartment complex in Dublin €50M & €200M Logistics buildings Multiple mixed use developments & Residential developments Numerous Deign & Build projects Projects range in values from €10m €200m. Huge variety of projects Role / Requirements: Degree in Civil Engineering / Structural Engineering or equivalent. 8+ years+ experience in the design of building projects. The successful Structural Engineer will have strong experience in concrete and steel design and careful attention to detail. Familiar with Eurocodes/ British Standards. Proven use of 3D modelling software (Tekla Structural Designer, Robot, Etabs etc.) Organised approach to problem solving and a willingness to explore new opportunities. Ideally have a driving licence.
