Junior Safety Officer – EHS&S Project GMP Compliance

LSC have a great contract opportunity for Junior Safety Officer to join a Cork based Biopharmaceutical company. The site manufactures low volume bulk API for Phase III clinical trials, initial product launch and long-term market support. The team on site grow, purify, formulate, and bulk fill mammalian cell culture derived APIs for medicines intended for human use. If you have 2 years of experience working in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry and are ready for your next challenge, this could be the perfect opportunity for you ABOUT THE PROJECT - KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Attend daily Capital and CORE project meetings. Review and approve contractor safety documentation and RAMS (Risk Assessments and Method Statements) via EIDA. Develop and maintain Construction Health and Safety Plans for active projects. Conduct weekly project and environmental audits. Support permitting systems including LOTO, confined space, and hot works. Manage isolation systems for construction activities. ABOUT YOU - ARE YOUR SKILLS A MATCH? Degree or diploma in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field. 1-2 years of experience in a safety or compliance role, preferably in a GMP-regulated environment. Familiarity with EHS regulations, GMP/GDP standards, and cleanroom protocols. Note: Are you currently eligible to work in Ireland?
