Overview:
Mastercard is looking for an experienced Employee Relations professional to join its Global Employee Relations team. Working closely with the People Business Partners, employment law, compliance, and business stakeholders, the desired candidate will develop and leverage ER best practices and processes to support our culture of decency and fairness consistent with Mastercard values and local laws. Hybrid flexible working is available.

Role:

1. Provide expert advice to People Business Partners, managers, and employees about company policies and processes
2. Partner with internal employment counsel, compliance, and People Business Partners to effectively manage employee relations issues/investigations
3. Investigate concerns raised, including complaints of discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and other work-related issues
4. Prepare investigative documentation, including interview notes and summary of findings
5. Prepare, track, and maintain appropriate investigation and reorganization data and documentation
6. Use case management system to manage cases from intake to resolution
7. Provide and manage periodic reporting to relevant senior stakeholders
8. Establish strong cross-functional relationships at all levels and geographies
9. For the EMEA region (mainly Ireland), provide sound ER advice and guidance to People Business Partners and managers on a range of ER topics such as performance management, merger and acquisition, TUPE, disciplinary processes, absence management, and managing risk in termination of employment within the framework of leading with care
10. Partner with relevant control functions on investigations and outcomes
11. Create insights from data to inform process and improvements to drive a culture consistent with Mastercard values

All About You:
Experience in a multi-national, fast-paced organization, CIPD qualified or equivalent work experience. Deep human resources experience, solid ER experience with a demonstrated passion for Employee Relations. Good understanding of UK, Ireland, and European employment and labour laws.
Proven project management skills with demonstrated ability to drive global projects.
Experience advising on a wide range of employee relations issues.
Strong investigative skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to organize and analyze data. Excellent interpersonal skills with demonstrated patience, tact, and respect.
Exceptional attention to detail, coupled with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
