Job Title: Temporary Physiotherapist (Staff Grade) - Primary Care

Location: Ennis but travel may be required to health centers in west Clare

Duration: 5 months

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Temporary Physiotherapist (Staff Grade) to join our Primary Care team. The successful candidate will focus on providing high-quality physiotherapy services to adults with musculoskeletal (MSK) conditions. This role involves assessing, planning, and implementing rehabilitation programs to enhance patient recovery and improve functional outcomes.

Responsibilities

- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients with MSK conditions and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Implement evidence-based physiotherapy interventions to improve patient mobility, function, and quality of life.
- Monitor and evaluate patient progress, adjusting treatments as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes.
- Educate patients and their families on exercises, self-care strategies, and preventive measures.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated and holistic patient care.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations and policies.

Qualifications and Skills

- Bachelor’s degree in Physiotherapy or equivalent from a recognized institution.
- CORU registration
- Proven experience in adult or MSK physiotherapy, preferably in a primary care setting.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Commitment to continuous professional development and evidence-based practice.
