The Role & Responsibilities

Every day, we rise to challenges, and here’s how the Automation Engineer (MES) role will make an impact:

1. Fault-find complex automation equipment and networks.

2. Analyze, understand, fault-find, and modify software programs written by other developers.

3. Integrate MES EBR with Manufacturing/Packaging Equipment.

4. Manage Controller Network, OPC connectivity, and Historian Integration.

5. Implement LDAP/AD integration for equipment access management.

6. Ensure systems development and upgrades follow GAMP 5 and SDLC processes.

7. Review and prepare design documentation, tender documents, URS/FDS/CS documents for equipment or service procurement.

8. Generate, review, and approve project documentation, validation documentation (FAT, IQ-OQ), trial reports, and SOPs.

9. Develop end-user manuals (SOPs, training aids) and conduct training on new equipment/processes.

10. Perform technical reviews of SOP updates related to equipment/processes.

Skills & Experience

Ideal candidates will have:

- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, IT, or equivalent.

- At least 3 years of experience with Automated Control Systems in a GMP environment.

- Minimum of 2 years in a validated environment with strong discipline in change controls.

- At least 1 year of experience integrating SCADA systems with MES.

- Strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills.

- Ability to document work clearly and precisely.

- Good team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

- Excellent organizational skills and ability to understand and communicate technical documents.
