We are currently seeking to hire a Manager and an Associate Director to join our Cyber Security Strategy and Governance capability within our Cyber Security practice, based in Dublin 1. You will have an opportunity to work with some of our leading clients to help guide and influence how our clients react to the ever-changing cyber security threat landscape.

In this role you will be part of a team responsible for design and implementation of a broad range of IT risk-focused objectives, including but not limited to Technology Governance including compliance with laws and regulations; ICT Third Party Risk Management; Operational and Digital.

A snapshot of your peer group:

- Our Managers and Associate Directors typically have a relevant professional qualification such as CISSP, CISA, CISM, CCSP.

- Act as subject matter experts in various cyber security frameworks, including NIST, ISO27001, CIS, CSA CCM, etc.

- Strong knowledge of various regulations and directives, including NIS2, CRA, CER and MITRE amongst others.

- Maintains good working knowledge of the changing cyber security and regulatory landscape and can develop appropriate insights and solutions for our clients.

- Experience completing cybersecurity maturity assessments, cyber risk management and/or cyber strategy.

- Experience working on different projects that ensure strategic alignment with relevant laws, regulations, and business objectives.

- Experience with managing projects and partnering effectively with cross-functional teams.

- Experience working with different types of client sectors and have an ability to understand complex technical and cyber related issues.

- Experience in translating cyber risks to business risks.

- Relevant third level qualification in a technical based subject such as Computer Science, Information /Cyber Security or Cyber Crime Prevention.

- A minimum of 6 to 10 years’ experience working in Cyber Security Governance, Risk and Compliance, strategy development and strategic problem solving.

- You will preferably have previous experience working in a consultancy services firm or other similar. Relevant cyber security experience in large corporates / multinational environment in strategic roles will be added advantage.

- Advanced written and verbal communication and presentation skills, teamwork, and client service skills.

- Strong technical knowledge of IT / Digital systems and infrastructure.

- Provide guidance and share knowledge with team members and participate in delivering solutions spanning cyber strategy, regulatory alignment and compliance, governance framework design and implementation and working with large diverse project teams to deliver complex cyber strategies.

- Oversee engagement objectives, strategize to comply with professional standards, and mitigate risks inherent in the engagements.

- Review work performed by the engagement team and maintain relationships with client account leadership to manage expectations of service, including work products, timing, and services to be delivered.

- Oversee the execution of Information Security and privacy inherent to client engagements.

- Identify technological opportunities and evaluate Information Security and Privacy impacts on the client's business.

- Be creative, self-motivated, perform research in new techniques and methods.

- Demonstrate excellent project management skills, promote teamwork and individual accountability with engagement team members, and use available technology, tools, and KPMG Information Security assets to enhance the effectiveness of deliverables and services.

- Go to market and provide talks to external and internal forums (seminars, conferences, etc.).
