Job Description Applications are invited for the above full-time permanent positions. The Organisation Stewarts Care is a long-established voluntary organisation providing comprehensive community-based services to people with intellectual disabilities in West Dublin, North Kildare and Meath. We support people with a wide range of support needs across residential settings, day services, supported independent living, job advocacy and vocational training. The successful candidate will Operate from two main sites at Palmerstown, and Balgaddy in Southwest Dublin, and several satellite day service centres throughout West Dublin and North Kildare with an initial assignment will be in Kilcloon, Co Meath. Purpose of the Post The Creative Art Teacher will be responsible for teaching and inspiring individuals in a variety of art-related subjects. The role involves delivering high-quality lessons, fostering creativity, and encouraging learners to explore various mediums and techniques in visual arts. Candidates must meet the following criteria relevant to the role Recognised qualification in art education or a relevant art degree (e.g., BA in Fine Art, BEd in Art Education). Registration with the Teaching Council of Ireland or eligibility for registration. Experience in teaching art is essential. Experience of working with people with intellectual disabilities is desirable. Excellent communication and organisational skills. Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment. Experience in using technology for teaching art (e.g., digital tools, graphic design software). Salary and qualifications are in accordance with Department of Health consolidated pay scales.
