Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced and responsible Low Loader Driver to join our operations team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe loading, securing, and transport of plant machinery between work sites, yards, and client locations. Key Responsibilities: Operate a low loader truck for transporting machinery. Load, secure, and unload equipment in compliance with safety regulations. Carry out daily vehicle checks, ensuring all equipment is roadworthy and compliant with RSA standards. Assist with on-site logistics and coordination of equipment movements. Maintain accurate transport logs, delivery dockets, and related paperwork. Liaise with office and field teams to ensure timely delivery of machinery. Follow all health, safety, and environmental procedures. Represent Oliver Hedge Cutters in a professional manner at all times. Requirements: Valid CE (Artic) Licence. Up-to-date CPC Card and Tachograph Card. Proven experience operating low loader trucks and handling heavy machinery. Strong awareness of load security and safety regulations. Good communication and teamwork skills. Ability to work flexibly occasional early starts or late finishes may be required. Knowledge of plant machinery is an advantage. Safe Pass and Manual Handling certs preferred (training can be provided). What We Offer: Competitive hourly rate (based on experience). Overtime and travel allowances.
