Responsibilities

- Conduct comprehensive assessments of children's speech, language, and communication abilities.

- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings.

- Provide therapy sessions tailored to the specific needs of each child.

- Collaborate with families, educators, and other healthcare professionals to support the child's development.

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of assessments, treatment plans, and progress.

- Provide training and support to parents and caregivers to facilitate the child's communication development.

- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to the overall care plan for each child.

Requirements

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Speech and Language Therapy.

- Current registration with CORU

- Significant experience working as a Speech and Language Therapist with a focus on paediatrics.

- Strong knowledge of paediatric speech and language disorders and evidence-based treatment approaches.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

- Flexibility and adaptability to meet the needs of the children and the service.

- Full driving license and access to own car is desirable.

- Resident in Ireland and legal right to work in Ireland without restriction.

- All candidates will be required to undergo Garda Vetting.

- International Police Clearance (if lived outside of Ireland for more than 6 moths after the age of 16).
