Overview Weve is an early-stage Irish cybersecurity SaaS company, backed by top-tier investors, looking for a Fullstack Software Engineer to help reshape how Cloud Security Operations are conducted.
You will join a high-calibre, tight-knit team of engineers who are product-minded, async-first, and use the latest tools. You will work closely with the founder in a glass-door workplace, see and influence the product, and have opportunities to expand in areas of interest over time. As an early-stage company, everyone has a tangible impact on how the product develops. Our founder is a seasoned ex-Fortune 500 security leader who left to build the solutions he wished existed.
Responsibilities Architect and develop robust backend services that integrate with various security tools and platforms
Build and maintain scalable distributed systems, including advanced asynchronous data processing that enriches security data using proprietary algorithms and third-party APIs
Implement analytics services that provide actionable security insights from large datasets
Drive product development by understanding customer needs, navigating ambiguity, and prioritising scope reduction in a fast-paced environment
Learn how cybersecurity works, engage with security experts, and brainstorm innovative solutions
Collaborate with team members with a focus on teamwork and respectful communication
Requirements 5+ years of experience in product engineering with a track record of writing and supporting production services
Extensive experience in TypeScript and its ecosystem; knowledge of Golang, Kotlin, and/or Python is a plus
Proven experience developing data-heavy integrations with third parties
Understanding of patterns for handling data pipelines and fault-tolerance in asynchronous systems
Knowledge of observability and cloud troubleshooting practices
Excellent technical written and verbal communication skills, including with non-technical stakeholders
End-to-end hat wearing: willingness to handle tasks across infrastructure, hosting environments, frontend and backend development, tooling configuration, testing, architecture proposals, product direction, and customer support
