Maintenance Technician Co. Louth Working Hours: Shift options: 12:00 to 20:30, Tuesday to Saturday 13:00 to 21:30, Tuesday to Saturday 14:00 to 22:30, Tuesday to Saturday Flexibility is required, as hours may adjust based on business needs. We are seeking a skilled and motivated Maintenance Technician to join the team of a leading food manufacturer. This role is critical to ensuring the smooth operation, maintenance, and improvement of the production facilities. Key Responsibilities: Provide technical support for machine and equipment maintenance, installation, and modifications. Respond to breakdowns, diagnose root causes, and implement solutions to prevent recurrence. Perform electrical and mechanical troubleshooting and preventative maintenance. Ensure production equipment operates safely and efficiently. Support plant facilities, including compressed air, refrigeration, and steam systems. Monitor and improve equipment performance, working with suppliers for installations and modifications. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, spare parts, and contractor coordination. Requirements: Relevant trade qualification (e.g., Electrician or Fitter). Strong problem-solving skills, initiative, and attention to detail. Excellent time management, communication, and teamwork abilities. Knowledge of food processes and production is an advantage. Computer literacy and analytical capabilities. Interested?
