Essential Criteria:
QQI Level 5 in healthcare (or equivalent)
2+ years' experience in elder care
OR Nursing/Allied Health/Healthcare related Degree
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Strong supervisory and motivational skills
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in delivering high-standard holistic care to residents, promoting their equality and dignity
Carry out assigned tasks involving direct care and daily living activities
Respect residents' privacy and dignity, promoting their independence
Provide attention to residents with limited mobility
Understand and observe care plans, alerting nurses to changes in residents' physical and mental state
Report incidents or potential incidents that may compromise residents' health and safety
Maintain a safe environment for residents, staff, and visitors
Communicate effectively with residents and their relatives/representatives
Contribute to and enhance resident activities and events
