Community Healthcare Organisation 1 Donegal provides a broad range of services which includes Primary Care, Social Inclusion, Social Care, Mental Health and Health & Wellbeing Services. These services are delivered through the HSE and its funded agencies to people in local communities, as close as possible to people’s homes.
Description
Candidates must have at the latest date of application:
1. Statutory Registration, Professional Qualifications, Experience, etc.
(a) Candidates for appointment must:
1. Be registered, or be eligible for registration, on the Physiotherapists Register maintained by the Physiotherapists Registration Board at CORU.
2. Have three years full time (or an aggregate of three years full time) post qualification clinical experience.
3. Have the requisite knowledge and ability (including a high standard of suitability and professional ability) for the proper discharge of the duties of the office.
4. Provide proof of Statutory Registration on the Physiotherapists Register maintained by the Physiotherapists Registration Board at CORU before a contract of employment can be issued.
1. Annual registration
1. On appointment practitioners must maintain annual registration on the Physiotherapists Register maintained by the Physiotherapists Registration Board at CORU.
2. Practitioners must confirm annual registration with CORU to the HSE by way of the annual Patient Safety Assurance Certificate (PSAC).
Post Specific Requirements
A high level of clinical knowledge and evidence based practice to carry out the duties and responsibilities of the role in the Clinical Areas chosen.
The Clinical Areas are:
- Neurology / Gerontology / Rehabilitation (including adult disabilities)
Demonstrate experience in service development and/or quality improvements or other relevant improvement initiatives as relevant to the role.
