We are hiring for a position in our Preschool and School-Age care, located at Patrickswell National School, Lisheen Park. 35-40 hours per week.

Position: Childcare Practitioner

Qualifications: QQI ELC Level 5/6 Qualified or Level 7/8 more desirable.

Salary: €14.00 – €19.00 per hour (depending on qualification)

Duties:

1. Co-ordinate the implementation of activities suitable for different age groups.
2. Maintain a professional standard at all times.
3. Serve children breakfast and light snacks.
4. Supervise homework with children.

Person Specification:

1. Minimum of QQI ELC Level 5 Qualification essential.
2. Experience working within a School-Age Childcare setting an advantage but not essential (training provided).
3. Excellent team player.
4. Excellent communication and presentation skills.
5. Continuous improvement advocate.

Education and Training:
