Key Responsibilities: Tax Compliance Prepare corporation tax and income tax returns for a varied client base. Prepare and file returns across all tax heads, including Income Tax, Corporation Tax, Capital Gains Tax, and Capital Acquisitions Tax. Review compliance work prepared by the accounts department. Ensure timely, accurate submissions in accordance with Irish Revenue requirements. Tax Advisory Provide high-quality advice on tax planning, business restructuring, succession planning, and related matters. Research complex tax issues and communicate practical, well-reasoned solutions to clients. Revenue Interaction Manage Revenue audits, queries, and ongoing correspondence. Work proactively with Revenue to ensure smooth and efficient engagement on behalf of clients. Client Relationship Management Act as the primary point of contact for client tax queries. Build, strengthen, and maintain long-term client relationships based on trust and expertise. Deliver advice clearly and confidently, ensuring clients feel supported and understood. Desired Skills and Competencies: Strong knowledge of Irish tax legislation and Revenue procedures. Excellent analytical, research, and problem-solving ability. Highly organised, self-motivated, and capable of managing multiple deadlines. Strong written and verbal communication skills with a client-centric mindset. Ability to work independently while also contributing effectively within a team. Required Qualifications & Experience: Chartered Tax Adviser (CTA) qualification from the Irish Tax Institute, or currently studying towards it. An accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CPA) is an advantage but not essential. Minimum 2 years experience in practice within a tax-focused role. Demonstrated technical strength in Irish tax legislation and compliance. Experience dealing directly with clients and managing competing deadlines.
