Tax Senior Manager | TV and Film Sector | Dublin 2

We are currently seeking a Tax Senior Manager for our client's tax department in Dublin. The successful candidate will lead and help grow the tax group, providing high-quality tax advisory services to the firm's substantial Film and Television client-base. This role offers an excellent opportunity to support existing clients and capitalize on new opportunities to deliver additional services.

Our client is a leading firm in Ireland, with clients that include major Hollywood Film Studios, independent film production companies, and large Television Production companies in Ireland, the UK, and the USA. The company is experiencing considerable growth in tax consulting and compliance across various sectors.

- A 35-hour working week with flexibility around the core hours of 10am-4pm.

Main Responsibilities —

- Delivering high-quality tax advisory services to clients on a wide range of issues, including global mobility and employment tax issues, inbound/outbound corporate tax planning, IP migration and exploitation, cross-border VAT issues, wealth planning, etc.

- Advising on film/tv production structures and reviewing structure documentation to ensure compliance.

- Managing the corporation tax affairs of companies and groups within the sector.

- Reviewing and approving Film and Television and Gaming Tax Credit Claims.

- Advising clients on the conditions of qualifying for Film and Television and Gaming Tax Credit Claims.

- Managing a team of tax professionals.

- Leading the tax department with responsibility for further growth of the business.

About you —

- A committed and experienced tax adviser with a variety of experience.

- Excellent technical, communication, and organizational skills.

- Experience of working with clients in the Creative Sector would be an advantage, though not essential provided the candidate has a track record of delivering a high standard of client service and dealing with complex technical work.

- A natural team player with a positive and enthusiastic attitude.

- Educated to at least degree level, with a relevant professional qualification (AITI/ACA/ACCA).
