Overview A leading food production facility is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to join its engineering team. This is a hands-on leadership role suited to a skilled maintenance professional ready to take the next step in their career. The successful candidate will support the Maintenance Manager, coordinate team activities, and ensure smooth operation of all maintenance functions across a busy manufacturing site. Responsibilities Lead and coordinate daily maintenance operations, including rostering and team supervision Liaise with suppliers and service engineers to organise required works Perform mechanical repairs across high-speed packing, automation, and facility systems Deliver preventative maintenance and technical support for production lines Minimise downtime through effective troubleshooting and machine setup/changeovers Contribute to general facility upkeep and collaborate with other maintenance operatives Criteria Trade qualification in mechanical, electrical, or fitting disciplines Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to read schematic drawings Skilled in fault finding using multimeters and understanding automation systems Experience in a manufacturing environment, ideally food production Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work both independently and in a team Comfortable with modern equipment control interfaces Good English communication skills (written and verbal) Reward €25-€27/hour, depending on experience Full-time permanent contract Rotating start times.
