MIG Welding Robotic Operator/Programmer

- Set up and operate robotic MIG welding cells, ensure parts are manufactured in accordance with the production output targets
- Adjust and set/program the welding cell to specification as required
- Support the training of new operators, troubleshooting and repair of robotic welding equipment as required
- Recommend design changes as required to improve quality, reliability, and productivity of welding processes.
- Develop in conjunction with the manufacturing team the weld drawings and weld matrices

Skills and Qualifications

- Experience with MIG welding processes is essential
- A knowledge of manufacturing and mechanical Engineering is essential
- Experience with MIG welding processes and robotic applications is desirable
- An apprenticeship or third level qualification in manufacturing or welding qualification is desirable
