We are currently expanding our EHS capability and are looking to hire an experienced Senior Environmental Consultant to join the team.

You will enjoy working on multiple large-scale projects in the Irish and international markets across a number of sectors. Depending on the successful candidates’ preference, this opportunity can be permanent or on a contract basis. (Cork or Dublin location).

Responsibilities

We are interested in hearing from candidates who have the following experience:

Support in the area of environmental management / consultancy for regulated facilities
Prepare environmental regulatory applications and licence compliance reports
Prepare or input into Environmental Impact Assessment Reports (EIAR)
Prepare and implement Environmental Management Plans and systems to ISO 14001 standards
Environmental Auditing and Inspections
Understand and apply current and proposed Environmental & Sustainability related legislation (Building and Planning regulations)
Assist clients with sustainability objectives e.g. Circular Economy Adaptation, Climate Action Plans, Carbon Management and Sustainability master planning
Technical Report Writing

Qualifications

Qualification (Level 8) in Engineering/ Environmental/ Sustainability or related subject
Significant experience in the area of environmental management/consultancy for regulated facilities
Good knowledge and understanding of environmental/sustainability legislation and EU BAT/BREF
Working knowledge of LEED, BREEAM and/or NZEB desirable (but not essential)
Experience with carbon consulting and assessment of renewable technologies desirable
Project management skills
Clear and confident communication skills
