Senior Architectural Technologist

As a Senior Architectural Technologist you will be joining an engineering and project management services provider based in Cork. Due to growth in project pipeline, they are now seeking to add to their team of Project Managers, Engineers, and Technologists. This consultancy has a strong team and a great client base with plenty of pipeline for the incoming years servicing the Residential, Healthcare, and Leisure industry. It has a great collaborative environment that a technically focused candidate will thrive in.
Your New Role
As a Senior Architectural Technologist, you will be focusing on servicing across the Residential, Healthcare, and Leisure industries. At this senior level, you will be given a fair degree of autonomy, trusted to interact with clients; coming up with design solutions and able to build on relationships. Mentorship of junior staff and bringing them through their early stages of career will be a key part of your role. You will be managing projects straight from feasibility stages to completion. If you like a role that doesn't just involve detailing, you will be on site regularly to do inspections, ensuring that quality has not dropped from the original brief.
Job Requirements
Our client is looking for someone with 6-10 years post-graduate experience on projects in Ireland. A degree in Architectural Technology or a related degree is expected. You should have a high degree of technical knowledge, building regulations, and drafting skills. You should be able to demonstrate the ability to coordinate with a variety of disciplines (Civil, Structural, M&E, etc.). Revit is essential for the role. Projects can vary from small scale to large, so you should be comfortable in an environment with various levels of project requirements.
