We're looking for a hands-on Production Supervisor in Co. Meath to oversee day-to-day operations on the production floor.

About the Role:

Are you a skilled leader with a passion for optimizing production processes and inspiring teams? We’re looking for a hands-on Production Supervisor in Co. Meath to oversee day-to-day operations on the production floor. In this role, you will lead a dedicated team to meet production targets, maintain safety and quality standards, and ensure seamless collaboration across departments.

You’ll be at the heart of operations, driving efficiency, implementing process improvements, and maintaining compliance with food safety and quality standards. If you thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and enjoy mentoring teams to success, this role is for you.

Key Responsibilities:

- Supervise daily production activities to ensure schedules are met and quality standards are maintained.
- Achieve daily production targets and ensure all production data is accurately recorded in SAP.
- Monitor production metrics and implement improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce downtime.
- Collaborate with the Operations Manager and other departments to plan production schedules and allocate resources effectively.
- Uphold safety protocols and maintain compliance with industry regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
- Lead, train, and develop production staff, providing regular feedback and performance evaluations.
- Address operational challenges promptly to minimize disruptions in the production process.
- Coordinate with maintenance teams to ensure equipment is functioning optimally and downtime is minimized.
- Maintain food safety and quality assurance standards in alignment with BRC requirements.
- Perform additional duties as needed to support production operations.

What You’ll Need:

- Proven experience in a manufacturing environment, ideally within food production.
- Strong understanding of lean manufacturing principles and practices.
- Demonstrated leadership and team management skills with the ability to inspire and motivate.
- Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and communication abilities.
- In-depth knowledge of food manufacturing processes and compliance standards.
- Ability to analyze production data to identify trends and drive improvements.
- Familiarity with safety regulations in the food industry.
- Experience with SAP Business One is an advantage.
