The Role:
The Project Manager will be responsible for leading and co-ordinating day-to-day activity in the execution of technology and process optimization projects aligned to achieving Avolon’s corporate objectives.
Role Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage complex projects for Avolon, owning them throughout the entire project lifecycle, including planning, scoping, management, and execution.
- Evaluate business processes, anticipate requirements, and lead the implementation of optimized solutions.
- Co-ordinate and manage all activities related to the project, including development and ongoing maintenance of project plans, action logs, RAID logs and budgets .
- Manage external vendors throughout the project lifecycle.
- Liaise with internal stakeholders to scope, design, test and review each phase of the project pre-implementation.
- Manage and control project timelines, risks, budgets and documentation.
- Assess project performance on an ongoing basis and produce status reports.
- Identify and mitigate project risks and issues and manage change requests.
- Complete vendor evaluations and lead the implementation of third party solutions.
- Manage all activities related to the launch of new technologies and processes, pre and post implementation.
The Person:
The successful candidate will manage, prioritise, track and deliver tasks for themselves and their team. They will also be proactive about change, striving for continuous improvement, using their outstanding communication skills to recognise alternative perspective. They will be driven and resourceful as well as having excellent organisational skills. They will be able to articulate complex concepts and put forward compelling arguments and rationales. They will always act with integrity and will represent Avolon in a transparent and honest manner setting a strong example for others to follow.

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a high attention to detail.
- Proactive about leading change and strives for continuous improvement.
- Manages, prioritises, tracks and delivers tasks efficiently and effectively.
- Ability to parse complex projects into workstreams.
- Direct, effective and engaging communicator capable of working cross functionally with the ability to inspire others and deliver results across the organisation .
- Strong and independent minded with the ability to express your views with conviction, showing bravery in confronting established thought while recognising alternative perspectives.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a high attention to detail.
- Self-motivated with an ability to work independently in a fast-paces, dynamic environment.
