Role Overview:

My Client is seeking an experienced Audit and Accounts Director to lead their audit and accounting department, drive business growth, and provide strategic direction. This role involves managing a portfolio of clients, overseeing audits and financial reporting, and developing the team's capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead and manage the audit and accounts team to ensure quality service delivery.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships and provide strategic financial advice.
- Oversee audit assignments, ensuring compliance with standards and regulations.
- Drive business development and identify new growth opportunities.
- Monitor departmental performance and manage resources effectively.
- Represent the firm in external forums and industry events.

Qualifications and Experience:

- ACA, ACCA, CPA, or equivalent.
- 5-10 years PQE in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of auditing standards, IFRS, and Irish GAAP.
- Proven client management skills and experience leading teams.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
