Dublin, Ireland Rippling Full time

Rippling gives businesses one place to run HR, IT, and Finance. It brings together all of the workforce systems that are normally scattered across a company, like payroll, expenses, benefits, and computers. For the first time ever, you can manage and automate every part of the employee lifecycle in a single system.

Take onboarding, for example. With Rippling, you can hire a new employee anywhere in the world and set up their payroll, corporate card, computer, benefits, and even third-party apps like Slack and Microsoft 365—all within 90 seconds.

Based in San Francisco, CA, Rippling has raised $1.4B from the world’s top investors—including Kleiner Perkins, Founders Fund, Sequoia, Greenoaks, and Bedrock—and was named one of America's best startup employers by Forbes.

We prioritize candidate safety. Please be aware that all official communication will only be sent from @ Rippling.com addresses.

About the role

After becoming one of the fastest-growing startups in the United States ($0 → $13.5B), Rippling is enhancing our regulatory operations as we become a global payment processor. Rippling is growing its payments capability throughout Europe and has established Rippling Payments Ireland to support this growth.

We’re looking for a Regulatory Operations Manager who will lead core regulatory operations projects and support our growth in line with regulatory requirements. We need someone who can implement the regulatory operations strategy and manage multiple operational workstreams. You will partner closely with our parent entity (Rippling Inc.) on operational resilience projects and will play a key role in overseeing outsourced services. This role will report to the COO of Rippling Payments Ireland.

What you will do:

- Collaborate with the Rippling Payment COO to develop and embed policies and procedures for managing outsourcing and operational resilience risks.
- Assist in implementing and overseeing the operational resilience framework.
- Ensure comprehensive oversight and control of outsourcing and resilience processes, including SLA monitoring and KPI tracking.
- Develop management information systems and reports to support oversight and data-driven decision-making.
- Identify critical business services and contribute to resilience assessments.
- Conduct due diligence and risk evaluations for new and existing outsourced functions.
- Enhance the operational risk framework and align reporting with evolving regulations.
- Investigate payments operations risk events, perform root cause analyses, and maintain incident logs.
- Engage in cross-functional projects to integrate regional and local operational needs with global shared services.
- Ensure full compliance with applicable regulatory requirements related to outsourcing, operational resilience, and incident management.
- Drive operational efficiency across e-money operations.
- Ensure seamless coordination between regional/local operations and global shared services.

What you will need:

- A minimum of 5+ years experience with e-money and payments operations, including experience with outsourcing frameworks, operational resilience, and incident management.
- Strong operational risk management experience, including a track record in monitoring risk indicators and identifying strategies to bring exposures to within tolerance.
- Previous experience working in a multinational or US-headquartered business
- Proven success in building and developing relationships with key stakeholders, internal and external.
- Adaptable, positive, and solutions-oriented, with excellent communication skills.
- Strong organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines.
