Job Title – Site Engineer

Project – Commercial & Residential Projects

Job Location – Waterford & Wexford Areas

Salary – €40K - €50K + travel

About the Company

New opportunity to work with a very busy and reputable Main Contractor in the South East on a mix of residential and commercial projects valued up to €20M. My client is renowned for being one of the busiest contractors in the South East as well as having a very low turnover of staff.

The Role

- Setting out and checking works as required for the project and ensuring all works are completed in line with project drawings specifications and building regulations.
- Liaise with sub-contractors and personnel on site in in the planning and construction of the project.
- Support the Project Manager/ Contracts Manager/ Site Manager to ensure works are completed as per programme and to a high standard.
- Work with design team and architects to quickly and efficiently overcome any technical issues that may arise during the construction stage
- Maintain excellent relationships with the construction management team, subcontractors and site personnel.

Requirements

- A Degree in Engineering or related discipline.
- Minimum of 3-5 years' experience with a Main Contractor in ROI.
- RC Frame experience is essential.
- Ability to use setting out instruments is essential and being competent in all aspects of set out, survey & level, temporary works co-ordination.
- Thorough knowledge of computer and database applications such as Microsoft Office and Project/PowerPoint.
