Overview

Opportunity for a Electrical Turnover Engineer to join the Life Science team in Dublin .Reporting to the Regional Director/Regional MEP Lead, the Turnover Lead is responsible for managing and coordinating all turnover activities within the project lifecycle.

This role ensures seamless transition from construction to commissioning and final handover to operations, maintaining compliance with project timelines, quality standards, and client requirements.

Responsibilities

- Coordinate and manage electrical system turnover packages (TOPs), ensuring timely completion and compliance with project specifications.

- Liaise between construction, quality, commissioning, and client teams to ensure all electrical systems are fully documented and ready for handover.

- Review and verify as-built drawings, inspection test records (ITRs), and redline markups for completeness.

- Ensure punch list items related to electrical systems are identified, tracked, and closed prior to handover.

- Prepare system boundary drawings and turnover system index in collaboration with project engineers and commissioning teams.

- Participate in system walkdowns and inspections with stakeholders to verify construction and installation status.

- Manage turnover documentation using project turnover management systems (e.g., Aconex, Procore, SmartPlant, WinPCS, or similar).

- Ensure compliance with local and international codes and standards (e.g., NEC, IEC, IEEE).

- Monitor and report progress of turnover packages and highlight risks or delays to project management.

- Support commissioning teams with the provision of technical data and system readiness information.

Experience

- 5+ years of experience in electrical engineering, construction, or commissioning, with at least 2 years focused on turnover activities.

- Experience working on large industrial or infrastructure projects (e.g., oil & gas, power, manufacturing).

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline
