SAP Delivery Senior Manager (Supply Chain)

PepsiCo is seeking a SAP DevSecOps Senior Manager to join our IT function and be part of our digital transformation journey. Role based in Carrigaline, Cork on a hybrid basis.

PepsiCo Global Concentrate Solutions (PGCS) brings the flavours of PepsiCo to life, supplying beverage and snack flavours for many of PepsiCo’s mega brands including Gatorade, 7Up and Pepsi. Responsibilities

As the Sr Manager of PGCS’s growing SAP Solutions and capabilities landscape, this role is required to lead the SAP DevSecOps IT function for PGCS. The role is responsible for the leadership of all application delivery, continuous improvement and service stability across functional areas of SAP Supply Chain, Finance and Procurement, excluding manufacturing operations.

Key activities:

1. Act as Functional Lead in evaluating, estimating, planning and delivering initiatives based on scope established with the sector and global teams.
2. Guarantee solutions with high level of quality and security, focused on minimal to no-impact on production.
3. Resource Management for proposal feasibility, project planning and execution, using internal and external resources based on the flow of requirements.
4. Manage Partners and vendors to ensure a strategic relationship is in place to deliver solutions to meet business requirements.
5. Work closely with Portfolio and project management to establish appropriate governance and tracking structures to ensure projects deliver on plan, time and budget.
6. Escalate high impact issues related to project delivery to Director of Delivery and relevant IT Leads.
7. Ensure delivered applications and projects are successfully transferred to sustain, with appropriate support structures and resources in place.
8. Establish and operate continuous delivery, deployment, monitoring and improvement capabilities within the functional space.
9. Guarantee solutions stability based on agreed SLAs within IT and the business.
10. Lead functional agenda including sustain L3+ and projects for all SAP and tightly integrated applications within the functional domain.
11. Own solution enhancement, optimization, expansion, and TCO reduction.
12. Participate in defining the strategic vision for PGCS IT and translate that vision into strategic and annual operating plans for the domain.
13. Establish and enforce sector governance process and tools standards for the assigned SAP function.
14. Review solution designs with Enterprise Architecture team to ensure compliance with global standards.
15. Coordinate the contract and vendor management related activities within the sector complying with global guidelines.
16. Mentor and grow the skillset of the Business/IT Analysts whilst acting as a functional escalation point.
17. Ensure effective resource utilization across the workgroup.
18. Stay up-to-date with technology and industry trends by proactively participating in training and other relevant means.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent required.
2. 10+ years of hands-on SAP configuration skills in one or more of the functional areas – Forecast to Schedule, Order to Cash, Procure to Pay, Record to Report etc.
3. 10+ years of related IT business work experience, managing a team with the ability to develop teams and cultivate talent.
4. Agile, DevOps or DevSecOps experience.
5. Knowledge of integration points on SAP SD, PP, MM, APO/IBP, FI-CO, BPC applications/modules and related business processes.
6. Knowledge and experience in following tools and processes are nice to have: SAP Solution Manager, SAP ChaRM, ITIL tools/processes and production support.
7. Strategic and analytical thinker.
8. Excellent communicator, comfortable managing the expectations of customers as well as senior management and internal technical staff.
9. Strong teamwork and leadership skills.
10. Third party Vendor Management expertise.
11. Solid Understanding of Finance and Accounting processes and its relations with other key business processes.
12. Experience in CPG Industry Preferred.
13. Solution architecture experience.
14. SAP Master Data understanding and its integration with main business processes.
15. Keen interest in the business environment and how application solutions can add value to the business.
16. Strong understanding of cloud-based infrastructure and applications.
17. Program and Project Management experience.
18. Commitment to personal and professional development.
