An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Bookkeeper to join a well-established Accounting Practice in Naas, Co. Kildare. This role is perfect for a detail-oriented professional with strong expertise in VAT, payroll processing, and management accounts, looking to join a dynamic and supportive team.

Key Responsibilities:

- Oversee day-to-day bookkeeping for a varied portfolio of clients, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.

- Prepare and submit VAT returns in a timely manner, ensuring full compliance with regulations.

- Process payroll for multiple clients, including payslip preparation, managing deductions, and ensuring tax obligations are met.

- Assist in preparing management accounts, including profit and loss statements and balance sheets.

- Reconcile bank accounts and maintain clear financial records.

- Ensure all documentation is properly organised for audits and compliance purposes.

What We’re Looking For:

- At least 3 years’ experience in bookkeeping, with strong knowledge of VAT and payroll processes.

- Proficiency in accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks, or Sage, alongside strong Microsoft Excel skills.

- Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills.

- A proactive and client-focused approach, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
