Mechanical Maintenance Technician (Days) Location: Wicklow Salary: €50,000 - €55,000+ About the Position We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Maintenance Technician to join a dynamic manufacturing facility in Wicklow. What Youll Do Perform preventative and reactive maintenance on mechanical systems and machinery to minimise downtime. Troubleshoot and repair equipment, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency. Conduct routine inspections and address issues promptly to maintain safety and operational standards. Collaborate with production and engineering teams to improve machinery reliability and overall performance. Support continuous improvement initiatives, identifying areas for optimisation and cost reduction. Maintain accurate maintenance logs and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures. What Were Looking For Qualified Mechanical Maintenance Technician with experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment. Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, including hydraulics, pneumatics, and conveyors. Proven troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with a hands-on approach. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team. Familiarity with health and safety standards and a proactive approach to maintaining compliance.
