Job Title: Junior Site Engineer Location: Co. Galway Project: Mixed Use Development Salary:Negotiable DOE A respected, major contractor with a track record of delivering high-quality, sustainable projects across Ireland is seeking a Junior Site Engineer to work on a Mixed-Use Development in County Galway. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated engineer to join a reputable contractor in an opportunity to further their career. Key Responsibilities Set out, level, and survey the site in accordance with project requirements. Oversee and coordinate technical and site activities to ensure work is completed safely, accurately, and to specification. Liaise with project management, design teams, and subcontractors to maintain workflow and resolve technical queries. Assist in compiling as-built drawings and handover documentation. Ensure compliance with Health & Safety standards and environmental requirements. Requirements Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related discipline. 1+ years experience as a Site Engineer. Familiarity with setting-out (using Total Station / GPS equipment). Strong communication and organisational skills, with the ability to coordinate multiple trades and tasks. Knowledge of construction drawings, specifications, and site documentation.
