Financial Controller Retail Position Description An excellent Part-time Financial Controller position with a well-established, well known smaller Irish Retail business. Part-time: c. 2.5 days/week. Reporting to the MD, this key member of the senior management team will have overall responsibility for: All aspects of managing a best-in-class finance function Providing a strong commercial input into the day-to-day operational support to the business - KPI reporting, P&L by store and region, and specific brand performance analysis Directly influencing the achievement of the businesss strategic goals Managing and further developing a small, high-performance accounting and admin team. Budgeting and forecasting Management reporting, statutory reporting, tax compliance and liaising with auditors and banks. Exercising strong internal controls and stock management Systems development maintaining finance systems, upgrading EPoS systems Ecommerce involvement in project to relaunch ecommerce site on a new platform Candidate Background Ideal candidate will have the following background: Qualified Accountant, with minimum 5 years PQE Experience of managing a small team Retail experience a major benefit Systems and IT savvy, knowledge of EPOS systems and e-commerce a definite plus Excellent communication skills at all levels within a company, both written and verbal About Our Client Our client is well-established Irish retail business, with a presence nationwide.
