Software Engineer (.NET/C#) Location: Dublin, Ireland Type: Full-time | Permanent | Hybrid Salary: € We are currently hiring an experienced .NET Software Engineer to join a growing team in Dublin. This is a key role working within a regulated manufacturing environment, where you'll develop, maintain, and support software systems that interact with complex production equipment and ensure data integrity and compliance. The ideal candidate will be passionate about clean code, system architecture, and delivering reliable .NET-based applications in an automation-driven environment. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain manufacturing software using C# and .NET (Framework and Core). Build scalable, secure backend services, APIs, and application components. Integrate software with manufacturing equipment using protocols like OPC, OPC-UA, TCP/IP, HTTP. Design, manage, and optimize SQL Server databases and queries. Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to gather requirements and deliver technical solutions. Support software deployment, validation (GAMP), and troubleshooting in production environments. Create and maintain technical documentation in line with regulatory requirements. Lead or contribute to code reviews, process improvements, and the adoption of software best practices. Skills & Requirements Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or related field. 5+ years of experience in software development with a strong focus on C#/.NET. Solid experience with .NET Core and/or .NET Framework. Proficient in relational database development using SQL Server. Experience integrating software with industrial equipment or SCADA systems (advantageous). Strong understanding of object-oriented design, SOLID principles, and software design patterns. Version control proficiency (e.g., Git, Azure DevOps). Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Experience in a regulated environment (e.g. medical device, pharma, or automotive) is desirable. If you're interested, please click below to apply.
