Medforce Recruitment is delighted to partner with the HSE to recruit a Senior Physiotherapist for a Primary Care Adult Service in Galway. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a collaborative, community-focused team providing essential rehabilitation services to adults with a range of physical health needs.
About the Role:
As a Senior Physiotherapist , you will deliver high-quality physiotherapy services to adults in a community setting. You will work with clients experiencing musculoskeletal, neurological, and age-related conditions, with a focus on promoting function, independence, and quality of life.
Key Responsibilities of the Senior Physiotherapist:
Carry out comprehensive physiotherapy assessments and develop individualised treatment plans
Deliver evidence-based interventions in clinic, home, or community settings
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including OTs, nurses, GPs, and other allied health professionals
Support service users in managing long-term conditions and preventing hospital admissions
Provide supervision and mentoring to junior staff and students
Participate in service development and quality improvement projects
Requirements for the Senior Physiotherapist:
CORU registration as a Physiotherapist (essential)
Minimum of 3 years’ post-qualification experience , ideally in primary care or community settings
Proven experience in managing a broad adult caseload (e.g. MSK, falls prevention, post-surgical rehab)
Excellent communication, clinical reasoning, and teamworking skills
Full, clean driving licence and access to a car (community travel is essential)
