Site Engineer A Site Engineer is sought to join a leading East Midlands construction firm delivering high-quality residential and commercial projects in Kensworth. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated engineer to take ownership of on-site activities, including setting out, programme management, and subcontractor coordination, while ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards. The role is ideal for someone with UK construction experience who thrives on managing projects from start to finish. Duties: Read, interpret, and communicate construction drawings and technical details to site teams. Set out and survey sites to ensure accurate lines, levels, and reference points. Support project programme management, monitoring progress and ensuring deadlines are met. Coordinate subcontractors, materials, and on-site activities to ensure smooth delivery of works. Maintain accurate site records, inspection test plans (ITPs), as-built drawings, and environmental compliance documentation. Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality (SHEQ) standards. Mentor and guide team members, fostering effective working relationships on site. Implement best practice guidance and support continued professional development for self and team. Adhere to company policies, procedures, and integrated management systems. Requirements: Degree or equivalent in Construction Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related discipline. Minimum of 5 years experience as a Site Engineer on residential projects, with some commercial experience desirable. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and IT systems relevant to construction management. Full, valid driving licence and relevant site qualifications/cards. Strong organisational skills, self-motivation, and the ability to take responsibility for projects from start to finish. Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively with teams and subcontractors. Salary & Benefits: Salary circa £55K - £60k Excellent benefits. Company vehicle with fuel card.
