Machine Learning Engineer (Contract / Remote) My client is looking for an experienced Machine Learning Engineer to join their team for a 6 month rolling contract. This is the perfect opportunity for someone who has a passion for machine learning to join an organisation that are market leaders in their field and contribute to an interesting and progressive project. The role is fully remote (Office based in Dublin) but the occasional trip to the office may be required for meetings etc. Key Responsibilities Support data pipelines: collection, cleaning, and transformation Help build and maintain internal data-science tools Develop CI/CD workflows, testing, logging, and monitoring Write high-quality Python code for production use Assist with deployments and monitor system performance Provide ongoing support and improvements to existing tools Work on proof-of-concept projects and explore new data-driven ideas Learn and grow with mentorship from senior engineers What You'll Bring Over 5 years' experience in software/data engineering Good grasp of software engineering and DevOps practices (e.g., Git, APIs, containerisation) Experience with cloud platforms (e.g. AWS) Proficient in Python and common ML/data-science libraries Familiarity in ML frameworks such as; scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch Willingness to learn testing practices such as unit and/or integration testing Beneficial to have knowledge or interest in GenAI (LLMs, vector DBs) I specialise in recruiting contract IT professionals, if you wish to discuss this or other contract IT opportunities, please feel free to contact me for a confidential chat.
