Join us as a Product Manager – Wholesale SMS & Verification Services

Three is Ireland’s fastest-growing mobile network, designed to meet the demands of a data-rich, always-connected world. Our network supports advanced voice, messaging, and data services – and we're continually innovating to deliver more value to our customers and partners.

As part of the Wholesale team, this role offers a unique opportunity to shape the next generation of messaging and verification services in a future-driven, collaborative environment.

We are seeking an experienced and commercially savvy Product Manager to lead Three Ireland’s Wholesale SMS & Verification Services portfolio. This role is central to driving the growth of messaging products including A2P SMS, RCS, Premium Rate SMS, Virtual Mobile Numbers, and Mobile Verification services.
You will manage the end-to-end product lifecycle, from strategy through to technical integration, and oversee the financial performance of the portfolio. You’ll also play a critical role in partner onboarding, regulatory compliance, and maintaining key commercial relationships.

What else it involves:

- Portfolio Ownership: Lead the full product lifecycle – from roadmap definition to go-to-market – across SMS, RCS, mobile verification, and related services.
- Partner Management: Cultivate and grow strategic partnerships, negotiating agreements and fostering collaboration to support long-term growth.
- Financial Accountability: Own the P&L for the portfolio, manage OPEX and CAPEX budgets, and deliver regular financial reporting and forecasting.
- Product Launch & Onboarding: Drive the onboarding of operator and partner services, including commercial negotiations and technical integrations (SMPP, REST APIs).
- Regulatory & Compliance Oversight: Ensure full compliance with applicable regulations including GDPR, ComReg guidance, and messaging industry standards (e.g., 10DLC, DLT).
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal engineering, commercial, and regulatory teams to deliver seamless product performance.
- Market Insight & Innovation: Use market intelligence and competitor analysis to enhance product features and identify future growth opportunities.

The Skills we are looking for:

- 5–8 years’ experience in product management or partner management, preferably in the telecom or messaging space.
- Strong commercial acumen, with experience managing P&L, budgets, and financial forecasting.
- Solid technical grounding, with knowledge of messaging protocols (e.g., SMPP, RCS, REST APIs), telecom infrastructure, and mobile verification standards.
- Proven partner relationship management, with experience negotiating contracts and managing strategic accounts.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels and simplify complex technical topics.
- Strategic mindset and a track record of driving growth and innovation within a fast-paced, regulated environment.
- Results-driven and highly motivated by operational excellence and strong customer outcomes.

Ideal Candidate:

- Background in telecoms, digital messaging, or mobile verification services.
- Passionate about emerging technologies and business models in messaging and identity.
A team player with a collaborative, forward-thinking mindset.
- Demonstrated success in launching and scaling B2B or wholesale services.
