As the Laboratory Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities in the OLED Kilo Labs at PPG’s Shannon Plant. In this role, you will manage the production crew and technicians, ensuring the safe and efficient execution of OLED Development batches while meeting daily kilo lab goals.
This position will play a critical role in maintaining strict compliance with safety protocols, operational standards, and quality requirements. It also focuses on driving on-time, in-full (OTIF) delivery of products to clients while fostering a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities
Strong communication skills and flexibility; effectively manages resources
Supervises technicians, including performance evaluation, compensation, and disciplinary actions
Ensures conformance to company safety policies by setting an example, training, and mentoring others
Leads the safe execution of OLED Development batches, ensuring alignment with development goals and operational standards
Proficient with tools, systems, and procedures to support lab operations
Coordinates equipment repairs with Facilities personnel and third-party service providers
Assists with SOP writing for new equipment/systems and improvements to existing ones
Coordinates resources and personnel to meet production schedules and kilo lab goals
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree, Master’s degree, or global equivalent in a related discipline (preferred)
2–4 years of related professional experience
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues
Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures within a chemical plant environment
