Payroll & Accounts Executive – Dublin West (Onsite)

An established and growing business in Dublin West is seeking an experienced Payroll & Accounts Executive to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis. This is a broad and hands-on finance role that centres around managing the internal payroll process (approx. 150+ employees across fortnightly and monthly runs), while also supporting the wider finance function with reconciliations and reporting. You'll work closely with senior finance and HR teams to ensure smooth payroll operations and accurate financial data. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys a mix of payroll and accounts work, can manage deadlines under pressure, and has excellent attention to detail.

Location: Dublin West (onsite, full-time)

Salary and Benefits:

Salary dependent on experience
Permanent position in a stable and growing company
Monday to Friday, with some flexibility on start times

Responsibilities:

Prepare and process payroll data for fortnightly and monthly pay cycles
Ensure timely and accurate input of changes: new starters, leavers, pay adjustments, leave, bonuses
Liaise with external payroll provider to ensure all data is complete and correct before submission
Maintain employee payroll records in line with compliance and GDPR
Reconcile payroll accounts and assist with financial reporting
Work on year-end payroll reporting and employee statements
Support the finance team with tasks such as bank reconciliations, ledger updates, and reporting

Experience required:

3+ years of payroll experience in a similar role
IPASS qualification is essential
Strong MS Excel skills; knowledge of Sage or similar systems
Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy is critical
Ability to work independently and manage deadlines
Comfortable working in a team-based office environment
Strong communication skills and a problem-solving mindset
Ability to manage a dual-function role
