The client –
Our client is a mid-sized firm that has built lasting relationships with a diverse range of clients. What makes us unique is our personal approach, ensuring partner-led service is provided at all times.
The partners are supported by a complement of personnel working in the areas of audit and assurance, taxation, outsourced accounting/payroll, company secretarial and administration.
Staff are recruited both for their ability and attitude, ensuring a high-quality professional service in line with the firm’s ethos.
Role responsibilities –
Reporting directly to the firm’s Partners, the successful candidate will be tasked with:
1. Planning, control and completion of audit assignments for a varied range of clients.
2. Prepare the key deliverables of an audit including statutory financial statements and management reports.
3. Communicate with and manage client expectations. Deliver on deadlines and expectations.
4. Supervision of junior audit staff including staff appraisal.
5. Working on ad-hoc assignments from time to time in conjunction with the partners.
About you –
1. You will be ACA/ ACCA Qualified.
2. Have strong attention to detail, strong technical knowledge and an awareness of current issues.
3. Take responsibility for the delivery of high-quality audit files.
4. Have excellent interpersonal skills.
