HVAC Commissioning Engineer

A leading biopharma company based in Dublin 15 is currently seeking expertise in HVAC Commissioning, HVAC/Refrigeration Maintenance, and Environmental Monitoring.

We are supporting their recruitment efforts to hire an experienced HVAC Engineer to join their team in Dublin.

JOB PURPOSE

1. The main purpose of the role will be to carry out HVAC Air and Water Systems balancing and Validation of HVAC Systems and associated Cleanrooms.
2. The role will also include fault finding and troubleshooting of such systems during commissioning and validation.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities:

1. Responsible for commissioning, troubleshooting, testing and validation of HVAC systems
2. HVAC Air and Water Systems Balancing and Commissioning
3. HVAC Systems Trouble Shooting and Fault Finding
4. HEPA Filter Integrity Testing
5. Particle Count Testing
6. Verification of Cleanroom air change rates and Cleanroom pressure profiles
7. Complete documentation, and test sheets and complete detailed HVAC commissioning reports.
8. Good Documentation Practices
9. Good communication skills.
10. Ensure all works and repairs are prioritized and completed promptly.
11. Liaise with customers (and other contractors) on the site.
12. Follow up and close out on customer enquiries.
13. All works are completed to the highest quality standards.
14. All works are completed in accordance with the site safety standards.

Education/ Experience Requirements:

1. Trade background (Mechanical) with experience in working with HVAC at technician level with 3+ years education, training, and experience of HVAC Systems & Balancing.
2. AND/OR
3. Relevant Engineering Qualification i.e., Level 7 or Level 8 Mechanical, Building Services Engineering (with practical field experience)
4. Proven fault finding/trouble shooting skills
5. Knowledge and experience working in a GMP regulated facility.
6. Full/clean Irish Driver's License required for company vehicle.
