Necto Search and Selection is currently partnering with a renowned Tier 1 Civil Engineering & Construction company to recruit a high-calibre Managing Quantity Surveyor for a flagship, new-build project in North Dublin. This is a premier opportunity to play a pivotal leadership role on a major €100m+ civil engineering scheme, offering significant career visibility and the chance to work with one of the industry's most respected contractors. The Role: As the Managing Quantity Surveyor, you will hold full commercial responsibility for the project's success. You will lead a team, drive financial performance, and ensure the highest standards of commercial management from pre-construction through to final account. Key Responsibilities: Provide senior-level commercial leadership and strategic direction for the project. Full financial management, including cost value reconciliations (CVRs), forecasting, and reporting. Lead the procurement of subcontract packages and management of subcontractor accounts. Oversee the preparation and agreement of interim valuations and the final account. Identify, value, and negotiate variations and claims. Mentor, manage, and develop a team of junior and intermediate surveyors. Ensure robust risk and opportunity management processes are in place. Maintain strong, professional relationships with the client, consultants, and subcontractors.
