Environmental Compliance Specialist Kenny-Whelan are hiring an Environmental Compliance Specialist for one of its Global Life Science Companies in Limerick. Contact:Carmel Synnott : or call on Profile of the Role: The Environmental Compliance Specialist will be part of a team that will implement the requirements/conditions set out in the sites IED (Industrial Emissions) License, Greenhouse Gas Permit and other Environmental Programs. Description of Duties: Provide Technical Assistance for the sites environmental programs, including air emissions, wastewater discharges, soil and groundwater management, surface water management, waste management, and environmental noise control Ensure that the company adheres to both local and Corporate environmental standards Act as the Point of Contact for environmental compliance Help create a positive culture for environmental performance Facilitate the implementation of various environmental programs across the site Assist in implementing the conditions set out in the sites new IED Licence and Greenhouse Gas Permit and as part of that support the sites environmental sampling and monitoring requirements Be a resource to all areas in helping them understand the regulatory requirements of their areas and programs. Work with them in implementing solutions that comply with these regulations and programs Participate in Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) improvement projects for optimization, simplification and streamline of EHS processes related to Environmental Programs Compiling Environmental reporting for both regulatory and corporate requirements Continuously stay up to date with new environmental regulations Deliver Instructor Lead Training for environmental courses Experience and Requirements: *BSc or MSc in Environmental Science or similar *4 years +experience working in the pharmaceutical industry essential * IED Licence essential (Hybrid working available after Training) ** Are you eligible to work in Ireland?
