Responsibilities be responsible for the co-ordination of the Healthy Living Child and Adolescent Complex Obesity Service to meet the needs of children, young people and their families
contribute to strategic and operational team decision making to ensure the consistent delivery and continued development of high quality, outcome driven patient care in CHI at Temple Street
play a key role in the development of cross city relationships, cross site integration of the service and integration with primary and secondary care services
develop a strong working relationship with the clinical, administrative, research and operations teams within CHI
develop mutually beneficial relationships with other service co-ordinators working in CHI
manage the operational issues related to the day to day service delivery
establish a risk management framework
evaluate service performance in collaboration with the multi-disciplinary team through audit and research
represent the service as required
Qualifications and Requirements Must have a relevant clinical professional qualification and be registered with the relevant professional board
Must have a minimum of five years post qualification experience working in clinical paediatrics
Must have a minimum of three years experience working in a service delivering child and adolescent obesity care, including knowledge of clinical processes and patient administration systems
Must have experience of delivering quality improvement in a healthcare environment
Must have advanced ICT skills
Additional Role Details The post holder will: be responsible for the co-ordination of the Healthy Living Child and Adolescent Complex Obesity Service to meet the needs of children, young people and their families
