Description

One of our busy offices in south Dublin is seeking a part-qualified accountant to join their growing team. Based near Kimmage, the office supports a wide client portfolio with professional accounting and advisory services.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist the accounts team on a variety of accounts, from planning to completion
- Identify any accounting matters, deal with them where appropriate, and refer complex matters to managers and partners
- Compile management accounts from incomplete records
- Liaise directly with clients ensuring timely delivery of services and manage the relationship professionally
- Resolve client queries and plan workloads effectively
- Use Excel spreadsheets to present and analyze key information
- Ensure client files are organized and up to date with new information and key changes
- Perform accounts preparation work on complex clients
- Handle corporate and personal tax compliance work and, where appropriate, tax planning
- Prepare VAT returns, bank reconciliations, and perform other ad hoc tasks

Key Requirements

Part-qualified/qualified ACCA or ACA with a minimum of 2 years' accounts preparation experience in a similar role.
