Overview

The Mastercard Consumer Data Management (CDM) program in Corporate Technology Solutions (CTS) delivers shared components that allow other Mastercard teams to leverage our expertise in the management of Consumer data. These services provide secure handling of Consumer PII/PCI data, Consent data, Messaging services (SMS, Email, and WebPush), and provision of Email Marketing support for Mastercard products.

Designed to meet strict regulatory requirements, these API-based services form the foundation for Mastercard's global offerings and are a key component of the Mastercard OS. Our mission is to enhance these capabilities and expand their adoption across the organization, ensuring they become the source of truth for all Mastercard Consumer data.

The Mastercard Consumer Data Management team in Dublin is looking for a Lead Technical Program Manager (TPM). The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and delivery of enhancements to our services to better serve our customers, and for delivery of enterprise initiatives. It will also have a Program-wide focus with responsibility for ensuring consistent practices across our global teams and coordination of shared activities.

As a group, we have a Lean-Agile focus on delivering the right solutions to both internal and external customers with the highest quality and the shortest lead time.

In this role, the successful candidate will:

1. Driving Agile ceremonies (Daily Stand-Ups, Sprint Planning, Retrospectives) to ensure smooth and effective sprints.
2. Drive product delivery of medium and enterprise-grade initiatives by managing release plans, dependencies, mitigating risks, and resolving blockers from inception to release.
3. Collaborate with engineering teams to balance business goals, technical strategy, and customer needs in decision-making.
4. Act as a key liaison with stakeholders, ensuring clear communication of progress, plans, and escalations.
5. Support platform development by understanding engineering requirements and promoting high-quality operations.
6. Monitor metrics and implement improvements to keep programs aligned with organizational objectives.
7. Influence roadmaps by contributing to planning and goal-setting activities across dependent teams.

All About You:

1. Agile Leadership: Ability to be Scrum Master, release manager, while having a program-wide view of activities.
2. Technical Expertise: Possess a deep understanding of design approaches, engineering best practices, and technologies.
3. Metrics & Risk Management: Define success metrics, anticipate bottlenecks, and address roadmap risks with contingency planning and data-driven decisions.
4. Process Optimization: Passion for identifying opportunities to streamline and automate customer onboarding and release management.
5. Relationship Building: Facilitate constructive dialogue to align diverse perspectives among stakeholders and resolve conflicts.
6. Effective Communication: Excel at transparent communication across all organizational levels, both verbally and in writing.
7. Autonomous Decision-Making: Work with limited guidance while helping teams balance business, technical, and customer priorities.
8. Problem-Solving: Resolve impediments and help customers/teams make informed trade-offs for successful delivery.

Experience:

1. Deep experience in technology, preferably with a background in engineering.
2. Experience working on large scale, multiple scrum team projects.
3. Experience with Agile Management tools (e.g., Jira, ALM).
4. Understanding of software development processes and procedures.
5. Agile / Scrum Industry Certification(s).
6. Works across teams to organize and accelerate delivery, ensuring all teams are delivering in a coordinated manner.
