Senior Java Software Developer Contract role Location: Dublin, Ireland (Hybrid) Contract: 6-Month Rolling Contract Rate: Competitive Daily Rate Stelfox is currently seeking two Senior Java Software Developers to join one of our leading clients based in Dublin. This is an exciting opportunity to work on enterprise-level applications within a collaborative, Agile environment. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, enhance, and maintain robust software applications. Lead code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices and standards. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and secure solutions. Drive CI/CD and deployment activities in alignment with DevOps culture. Provide technical direction and system architecture for key initiatives. Support Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement. Mentor junior developers and lead large development teams. Required Skills & Experience 5+ years of hands-on software development experience. Strong proficiency in Java, Spring Framework, and Python. Experience with Kafka, Mulesoft, and cloud-native integrations. Deep understanding of CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and deployment automation. Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Lean Agile); Scrum Master Certification is a plus. Experience with Jira and modern development tools. Proven ability to design and implement significant software components. Strong grasp of enterprise architecture and governance standards, especially in regulated environments.
