Our client, a global leader in financial services technology, is seeking a Lead DevOps Engineer to design and drive a next-generation enterprise CI/CD pipeline strategy. This is a hands-on leadership role focused on building and scaling Jenkins infrastructure, fostering a strong DevOps culture, and ensuring high-performing deployment solutions across the organization. Candidates based in Cork or Dublin are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design, implement, and manage a unified enterprise CI/CD pipeline leveraging Jenkins, Octopus Deploy, and related tools.
- Build a scalable, secure, and efficient Jenkins-based CI/CD platform to support multiple IT teams.
- Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of DevOps engineers and developers.
- Champion adoption of DevOps best practices, including Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
- Oversee pipeline governance, security, compliance, and continuous improvement.
- Drive automation initiatives and operational excellence across the environment.

Skills & Experience:

- Extensive hands-on experience with Jenkins, including building and managing enterprise-scale Jenkins platforms.
- Strong expertise with Octopus Deploy, Git, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure).
- Proficient in coding (Python, Node.js preferred) and automating infrastructure deployments (Terraform, Kubernetes, Docker).
- 8+ years of DevOps experience, ideally within financial services or similar regulated environments.
- 3+ years' experience leading technical teams and delivering CI/CD solutions at scale.
- Solid understanding of DevOps methodologies and ITIL frameworks.
- Proactive, collaborative, and passionate about innovation and operational excellence.
- Minimum Stamp 4 Visa and live within a commutable distance to Cork or Dublin.
