DAF Trucks is a leading commercial vehicle manufacturer in Europe and in Ireland and we import, sell and provide full aftersales services for DAF in Ireland. We have an immediate requirement for a fully qualified HGV mechanic to join our team and work with us in our workshops at DAF in Baldonnell, Dublin 22 and DAF, in Ballycoolin Dublin 11. If you are a qualified Truck / Bus Mechanic with experience and are interested in working in a new environment, please apply to us with your CV and a brief cover note outlining your experience to date. The Role Reporting to the DAF Service Manager, your role will be to provide high quality diagnosis, service, maintenance and repair to vehicles. You will be working in our state of the art facility in Dublin 22 or Dublin 11 and will be ensuring that all work carried out meets with our Manufacturer and our own best practice and standards of quality and best practice. You will have the opportunity to utilise all technical information services at your disposal to ensure high quality work. Requirements: You are a qualified / experienced HGV technician You have at least 3+ years experience working as an HGV and/or bus Technician Electric and Electronic diagnostic experience an advantage (ODIS) You understand the importance of Health and Safety practices in the workplace You are literate and numerate with good communication skills You hold a valid full clean Driving car and/or HGV License for in Ireland You are fluent in written and spoken English Benefits: Ongoing Manufacturer training will be provided Competitive Salary 22 days annual leave Contributory pension scheme Overtime allowance Workwear / Uniform Company Lifestyle Savings scheme Company employee assistance program
