- Planning quarterly sales schedule with key accounts, planning promotional activities.
- Recommends the nature and scope of present and future product lines by reviewing product specifications and requirements, appraising product packaging changes.
- Assesses market competition by comparing the company's product to competitors' products.
- Introduce and markets new products by developing time-integrated plans with sales and marketing.
- Completes market operational requirements by scheduling technical training of employees and third party salespeople of new products; following up on work results.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Prospects, initiates and follow up new sales projects in the market in a progressive, consistent and structural way
Profile
- Strong entrepreneurial and commercial mindset with proven key account sales experience.
- Diplomatic communicator, able to collaborate with both management and field sales teams.
- Strategic thinker who maintains a hands-on, proactive approach.
- Analytical and technically inclined, with strong problem-solving skills under pressure.
- Excellent relationship-building and communication skills, with persuasive abilities.
- Sales and business development experience, preferably in building materials and the local DIY market.
- Energetic and resilient personality, with perseverance, work ethic, and a practical approach.
- Ideally located in South-East Ireland (Wicklow, Wexford, Carlow, Waterford, Kilkenny, possibly Kildare or Laois).
